NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT UPON THE APPLICATION of Christine Mary Laverty, Trevor Patrick O’Sullivan and Helen Julia Dale, the joint administrators of Caversham Finance Limited (in administration), (respectively, the Joint Administrators and the Company) by application notice dated 5 May 2022 (the Application) AND UPON READING the witness statement of Christine Mary Laverty dated 4 May 2022 AND UPON HEARING Matthew Abraham, Counsel for the Applicants IT WAS ORDERED THAT
1. Section 176A(2) of the Insolvency Act 1986 shall not apply, and accordingly the Joint Administrators shall be under no obligation to set aside a prescribed part for the unsecured creditors of the Company pursuant to section 176A(5) of the Insolvency Act 1986.
2. The requirement in Rule 12.16(2) of the Insolvency (England and Wales) Rules 2016 that an administrator must, as soon as reasonably practicable, deliver notice of an order made under Section 176A(5) of the Insolvency Act to each creditor is complied with by publishing notice of the order made on the Grant Thornton UK LLP Insolvency Act Portal at www.grantthornton.co.uk/portal, pursuant to Rule 12.16(3) of the Insolvency (England and Wales) Rules 2016.
3. The costs of and incidental to the Application be paid as an expense of the administration of the Company.
